⛽️ Gas-based storage limit (MBIP-5) was implemented on Moonbase Alpha Testnet only: A new mechanism designed to manage the storage growth of the state by setting a block storage limit & increasing gas usage when a txn results in an increase in storage state.
📊 A simpler benchmark for calculating weight when paying out collator & delegators was introduced: staking reward distributions no longer produce empty, intermittent blocks.
🕵️♂️ The Identity Precompile was added to interface with Substrate's pallet-identity for signed origin extrinsics.
